Actually, I believe create_tracefile isn't even necessary anymore.  I'll
try taking it out.

Okay.  I didn't anticipate that people would want to do that.  I'll see
what I can do about the inconsistency.

Yes.  The x-*-data files should probably be ignored by push and pull.
