Good point.
However, SVN is based on tree snapshots (with global revision number). Changes
in specific revisions are naturally changes between tree snapshots R1 and R2
(where R1 = R2-1 if you want changes introduced in specific checkin). I
personally find the syntax cumbersome, as I'm usually looking for the changes
in specific revision, but it is clearly matter of taste.
