test.sh error: cannot move directory 'sub1' into a subdirectory of itself, 'sub1'

oops  Sorry about that.  I was running it in the bzr.dev directory,
but it seems the default path for bash picked up the old 0.0.3 version
installed somewhere else over the local directory copy, thus indeed I
was running 0.0.3 for the test;  I didn't caught that one.   After
correcting this, the test now passes.

Well, thanks, since I guess that problem was solved a few days ago
between 0.0.3 and 0.0.4pre.
