Commits with Bazaar-ng

Hello,
I am intersted in using Bazaar-ng for a web project.
We have a central server, which currently runs darcs, and I would like to
try bazaar-ng. I don't really understand how bazaar-ng works : does it use
SSH to send patches to the main repo on the server ? (like darcs with darcs
send <patch>)

Hope this is clear, I couldn't read the whole doc right now ...
