bug in bzrlib/trace.py (bzr 0.0.3)

Hello,

there's a slight bug in bzrlib/trace.py on line 105 that triggers if
username gecos field has other than ascii (bad practice, I guess, but
that's what I had). The attached fix works around it by assuming
latin-1, which is just as bad (but happens to work for me), but I
have no idea what the real fix would be.
