i don't understand why did you send DEB packaging instructions to me.

the application upload form clearly states:

> You can choose to upload either of:
> 
> Sources or binaries – Your application’s source or binary files, bundled in an archive file (.tar.gz, .zip, etc)
> Debian source package – A Debian source package (.dsc, diff.gz, orig.tar.gz files, if you are already familiar with packaging), bundled in an archive file (.tar.gz, .zip, etc)

i chose the first option, and uploaded the binary x86 build, which is compatible with ubuntu 8.04 and up (perhaps with earlier versions too).

can you provide an explanation why the submission was rejected, and what do i need to do to get it accepted?

what steps do i need to do to submit a binary static build of my app?
