Based on developers' comment on the portal

I downloaded the latest version from the developers' PPA here and tested it

https://launchpad.net/~marcoscarpetta/+archive/ppasc

Search indexing technique is much better now but it can be optimised I
think as it takes a minute and a half on my system to search.

Will upload to extras PPA anyhow as the package looks in neat shape.
