No problem. Lost in all the comments about the process/packaging was
the fact that I think you made a pretty cool app. I also wanted to
review your app since I figured to would be a good test case for the
process and would get me up to speed for what it looked like. I
certainly understand some of the issues faced by app devs and the ARB
much better now. This was an app made with the "blessed" tools by
someone familiar with the requirements/process, and it still wasn't
nearly as straight forward as it should be.

I'll go back through my notes and try to capture the issues in bug
reports against quickly and/or python-distutils-extra (which seems to
actually be doing the heavy lifting of the actual package generation).

Hmm... I'm not entirely sure. I've just started as an ARB "helper." I
don't know what they've suggested to folks in the past. I suppose you
could keep around a separate extras branch that you remerge on trunk
when you're ready to make new submissions.
