cut off date for Oneiric submissions?

We're about 1.5 months out from the release of Precise Pangolin. In the
interests of effective use of our time, I'd like to suggest that
starting 3 weeks before the release, we process submissions for Precise
instead of Oneiric (that is, tag the packages, run our tests, review for
compatibility, and submit to the archive for precise).


I can see potential for running longer in LTS releases, there may be
some apps that want to release on the (5 year) LTS rather than the
current non-LTS release, or want to release on both simultaneously. But,
we can think about that around the 12.10 release time.
