I had a look at it and found the following things worth fixing:
 - a few small changes I pushed to lp:~dholbach/ubuntu-app-reviews/indicator-pingdom already, which you might find worth merging
 - upon starting it I get "sqlite3.OperationalError: no such table: u1db_config"
 - debian/copyright will need fixing for inclusion into Ubuntu - currently it just states you as a copyright holder and and just MIT as a license, but a quick run of licensecheck showed this: http://paste.ubuntu.com/1074587/ - to complete debian/copyright this page might be helpful: http://dep.debian.net/deps/dep5/
