I've reviewed the latest revision in the developer's branch and confirm
that it does work now, and that he integrated the packaging changes from
Daniel Holbach and Michael Nelson.

As others have mentioned, it needs the -extras12.04.1 in the version
number. Looks like Didier's branch has this fix, so we should publish
from that one.
