Start diving into ubuntu - Kmail into Evolution

Hi guys,
I'm preparing my T42 with ubuntu. Right now, I'm using TM802 with Mandriva and 
Kmail. I notice that since ubuntu uses gnome, it ships with Evolution. 

Can I import my Kmail messages into Evolution?
Or, does ubuntu have Kmail?

I tried kubuntu, but it seems that many menus are broken.
