Status in “f-spot” package in Ubuntu: Invalid

Bug description:
Binary package hint: f-spot

THE PROBLEM

F-Spot automatically attaches your F-Spot tags to photos you export to Flickr, even if the "Export tags" checkbox is not checked. If the "Export tags" checkbox is checked, F-Spot attackes duplicate tags surrounded in quotation marks.

HOW TO REPRODUCE

1. Select a photo with one or more tags assigned to it.

2. Select Photo -> Export to -> Flickr, from the menu. (You will need a free Flickr account to test this bug.)

3. Export the photo to Flickr. Do not check the box that says "Export tags."

4. Look at the Flickr browser window that comes up. Note that your F-Spot tags are assigned to the pictures, even though you did not check the box.

5. Repeat steps 2-3, this time checking the box that says "Export tags."

6. Note that your F-Spot tags are duplicated, in the text box for tag entry on the Flickr window, and that the duplicate tags have quotation marks around them.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

If the "Export tags" checkbox is not checked, no F-Spot tags should be attached to the exported photos, and the user should be free to enter whatever tags that she likes (if she uses separate tagging systems on Flickr and F-Spot for instance).

If the "Export tags" checkbox is checked, a single set of F-Spot tags should be attached to the exported photos, sans quotation marks.

OBSERVATION

I am using the GNOME Global Menu Applet. If this bug is not reproducible by other people it may be a problem with the GNOME Global Menu Applet.
