Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: f-spot

When I perform highly CPU-intensive tasks in F-spot, notably "Merge
Raw", the process seems to make use of only one of the four CPU cores in
my machine. The process reports 100% (or close to) CPU usage, but
looking at resource usage in Gnome System Monitor reveals that only one
core is being used maximally, while the other three are close to idle.

Is this a problem with all mono-based software in Ubuntu?
