Public bug reported:

Affects: beagle (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
My Acer Aspire 1710 (laptop) does, sometimes, have some heating
problems, such as when I play a graphically intensive game for too long
and when it's on a blanket, but with beagle running my processor is
constantly working, which slows down my system to a crawl, even when
it's well ventilated, and makes my cpu temp go up to 200 (93 degrees
celsius) degrees Fahrenheit, just short of boiling. By uninstalling
beagle, my system idles at a nice, warm, 164 (74 degrees celsius)
degrees Fahrenheit. So, I'm going to have to assume beagle is behaving
wrongly, if it takes up that much CPU usage, and causes my system to
overheat if I leave my laptop alone.
