Comment:
The search and index properties has never been useful in ubuntu, its
used by some startup scripts in SuSE. We use an autostart desktop file,
same as gnome-power-manager or nm-applet. If you want to disable beagled
uninstall beagle or disable it in gnome-session-properties.
