This is a little frustrating personally, I guess. Thus I thought when Linus himself gives an opinion, it is worth discussing, as it really does effect development.  For what it is worth, Slackware developer Patrick Volkerding feels  the same about KDE. So sorry to apparently disturb the peace, drain motivation and annoy. It was meant in a positive way only.
