Hi!<br>
<br>
As I understand stable releases get only security updates. After
reading these (see links below) and this
(<a href="http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=17562">http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=17562</a>) I have a strong
feeling that few exceptions should be allowed. <br>
<br>
I also believe that stable release update policy should be revised. For
example what happens if dapper ships with broken xorg (bug that
disables mouse)? <br>
<br>
What I propose is:<br>
If there is a bug that affects everyone using given package/tool/config file/hardware and<br>
if there is a clean solution that fixes the bug for everyone<br>
allow update of non-security related bugfix.<br>
<br>
And please, update pmount for breezy. I have these nightmarish visions
of moms and avarage joes rushing to enable dapper repositories and edit
fstab :)<br>
