If you want to play with localapps and other recent stuff in LTSP you
really should go with 9.04.

Though 9.04 will only be stable in April so depending on your use you
may be interested to run 8.10 adding my PPA to get latest LTSP for
Intrepid (basically a backport from Jaunty).
As soon as Jaunty is released, I'll stop backporting to Intrepid and
will instead backport Karmic to Jaunty so you won't get any update since
that point if you're using my PPA.
